My DH took this beautiful photo of frost on the windshield of the car this morning here in the beautiful heartland of Indiana.
Really cold mornings give way to sunny, cold days, but throughout our time here, it was bright and crisp and delightful. I love Texas, and the Texas sunshine, but it’s good to get a few extra seasons besides summer and almost summer!
We hit the air again tomorrow as we head for home. But it’s been good to be home and spend time with family and to give thanks for all the blessings in our lives.
Seasons are fantastic! I used to love to visit Missouri and then we were eager to be home! Glad you had a good time!

I’m glad we’ve had sunshine while you were here. The cold isn’t nearly as bad when the sun is shining.
I took pictures of the frost on the car windows on Sunday. I don’t think they turned out too well though. I need to download them on the computer and see.
Hope you have a safe trip!
We have had some beautiful days this week in central Indiana. Lots of sunshine, which is unusual for November. I’m glad you’ve enjoyed it!

It will feel good to be back in your own bed again. I love that frost picture on your windshield. I had to study it a bit to get how it could be black looking–very interesting.
The frost picture is beautiful. You would not believe how cold it is here tonight in Texas. Well, it is in the 40’s and I am a cold weather wimp.
Love the frosty shot. I am glad you have enjoyed the chill of the season. I am sure you were kept warm by all the love surrounding you.
Bet you’re already home by now, Diana – hope you enjoyed the scenery and the chance for long conversations – welcome back to Austin.
